During this two-day workshop, the second of four foundational
modules on archetypal astrology, we will explore the place of the planetary
archetype Neptune in human life. Neptune is the universal principle associated with myth
and dream, transcendence and dissolution, mystery and magic. It manifests in
fantasies and projections, images and illusions, giving rise to the yearning
for paradise and the quest for the ideal. It is that principle that moves us
to seek connection to the eternal and to rediscover a sense of enchantment.
Using film clips, music, and text, the lecture presentation by Keiron Le Grice will draw on a range of examples from the
arts. philosophy, and psychology to help you
recognize and understand Neptunes role in
your own life. Over the weekend, you will learn the fundamental techniques
and principles needed to work with astrology for yourself mediated through a
close engagement with your own chart. There will also be opportunities for
group discussion and informal conversation with instructors and classmates.
Subsequent workshops will focus in turn on Pluto (September 2018) and Uranus
(March 2019). We hope you can join us!
